A new exciting children's furniture and novelty manufacturer is opening it's internet doors to consumers and retailers in January 2007, with a wide variety of imaginative products for the kids in your life.

The new firm is called Sleep Peas and features handcrafted maple constructions finely turned and lavishly painted in vibrant colors. just what the little crowd wants for their bedroom.

"Fun is the byword at Sleep Peas" says Lori McCabe, the designer and one of the owners. "We want to turn children's imaginations into practical furniture and décor."

From Princess Crown headboard and footboard to wall coat racks and mirrors, the furniture, made almost exclusively out of ¾ inch maple is superbly made and expertly painted with alive colors such as orange, metallic gold, magenta and eye popping yellow.

"We want to engage the imagination of the kids," says McCabe, who is the mother of three. "I get my best ideas from them," she says.

The current product line includes headboards/footboards, storage bins, wall art, mirrors and coat racks. Coming soon will be laundry baskets, table sets, stools and bookcases.

"All products are made one at a time with shipment, even for the most elaborate within 3 weeks," says James Vickery part owner and woodworker of the company.
